Ingredients
1 pound Short Pasta
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
2–3 cups Cooked Chicken Breast
1 cup Caesar Dressing
½ cup Parmesan Cheese
1 large head Romaine Lettuce
1–1 ½ cups Croutons
2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley
Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain and rinse with cold water
- Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the cooled pasta to prevent sticking
- Prepare the cooked chicken by shredding or dicing it and add to the pasta
- Chop the romaine lettuce and add it to the bowl with the pasta and chicke
- Add ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper
- Pour ¾ cup of Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine
- Add croutons just before serving and garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and parsley
Notes
To keep croutons crispy, store them separately until serving.
This salad can be prepared ahead of time; just add croutons right before serving.
