Ingredients
1 pound Ground Beef (80/20 or 85/15)
1 jar (24-ounce) Low-Carb Marinara Sauce
2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
½ cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
4 ounces Sliced Pepperoni
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
1 tablespoon Olive Oil (for greasing)
Fresh Basil or Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 7-8 minutes
- Drain excess grease and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another minute
- Combine the marinara sauce with the meat mixture and let it simmer briefly
- Layer half of the meat mixture in the baking dish, top with 1 cup of mozzarella and half of the pepperoni
- Repeat with the remaining meat mixture, mozzarella, and pepperoni, then sprinkle Parmesan on top
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving
