6 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
8 ounces Cream Cheese
¾ cup Powdered Sugar
¼ cup Crème de Menthe
2 tablespoons Crème de Cacao
1 ½ cups Heavy Cream
23 drops Green Food Coloring (optional)
Chocolate Shavings or Mini Chocolate Chips (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your pie plate by setting aside a 9-inch pie plate
  2. Make the Oreo cookie crust by crushing the cookies into fine crumbs, mixing with melted butter, and pressing into the pie plate. Chill for 30 minutes
  3. Prepare the cream cheese filling by beating softened cream cheese with powdered sugar, adding Crème de Menthe, and Crème de Cacao, mixing until smooth
  4. Whip the heavy cream in a chilled bowl until stiff peaks form
  5. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture gently until combined
  6. Pour the filling into the chilled crust and spread evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, preferably overnight
  7. Garnish with chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips before serving. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, substitute liqueurs with peppermint extract and adjust the recipe accordingly.
