Ingredients
24–28 pieces Oreo Cookies
6 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
8 ounces Cream Cheese
¾ cup Powdered Sugar
¼ cup Crème de Menthe
2 tablespoons Crème de Cacao
1 ½ cups Heavy Cream
2–3 drops Green Food Coloring (optional)
Chocolate Shavings or Mini Chocolate Chips (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare your pie plate by setting aside a 9-inch pie plate
- Make the Oreo cookie crust by crushing the cookies into fine crumbs, mixing with melted butter, and pressing into the pie plate. Chill for 30 minutes
- Prepare the cream cheese filling by beating softened cream cheese with powdered sugar, adding Crème de Menthe, and Crème de Cacao, mixing until smooth
- Whip the heavy cream in a chilled bowl until stiff peaks form
- Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture gently until combined
- Pour the filling into the chilled crust and spread evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, preferably overnight
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips before serving. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, substitute liqueurs with peppermint extract and adjust the recipe accordingly.
