  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

½ cup breadcrumbs

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg

2 tbsp milk

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp chopped parsley

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil spray (for baking)

1 ½ cups marinara sauce (for serving)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, milk, garlic, parsley, and seasonings. Mix gently until combined.

3. Roll mixture into 1½-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheet.

4. Lightly spray meatballs with olive oil.

5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until browned and cooked through (internal temp should be 160°F).

6. Warm marinara sauce in a skillet and add baked meatballs.

7. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot with desired sides.

Notes

Use an 80/20 beef blend for ideal juiciness.

Avoid overmixing to keep meatballs tender.

Add a cube of mozzarella inside each for a cheesy surprise.
