Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
½ cup breadcrumbs
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil spray (for baking)
1 ½ cups marinara sauce (for serving)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, milk, garlic, parsley, and seasonings. Mix gently until combined.
3. Roll mixture into 1½-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheet.
4. Lightly spray meatballs with olive oil.
5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until browned and cooked through (internal temp should be 160°F).
6. Warm marinara sauce in a skillet and add baked meatballs.
7. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot with desired sides.
Notes
Use an 80/20 beef blend for ideal juiciness.
Avoid overmixing to keep meatballs tender.
Add a cube of mozzarella inside each for a cheesy surprise.
Double the recipe and freeze extras for easy future meals.
