1 box (15.25 oz) Yellow cake mix
As per package instructions Eggs, Water, Oil
1 box (3.4 oz) Instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups Milk
1 container (8 oz) Whipped topping
1 cup Chocolate chips
1/2 cup Heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pa
- Prepare the yellow cake mix according to the package instructions and pour into the prepared baking pa
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool completely
- Once the cake has cooled, poke holes all over the top using the handle of a wooden spoo
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Stir in the whipped topping until blended
- Spread the vanilla pudding mixture over the cake, filling the holes
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it simmers. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted and smooth
- Pour the chocolate ganache over the pudding layer and spread evenly
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving
Notes
Ensure the cake is completely cool before adding pudding.
