1 box (15.25 oz) Yellow cake mix
As per package instructions Eggs, Water, Oil
1 box (3.4 oz) Instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups Milk
1 container (8 oz) Whipped topping
1 cup Chocolate chips
1/2 cup Heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pa
  2. Prepare the yellow cake mix according to the package instructions and pour into the prepared baking pa
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool completely
  4. Once the cake has cooled, poke holes all over the top using the handle of a wooden spoo
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Stir in the whipped topping until blended
  6. Spread the vanilla pudding mixture over the cake, filling the holes
  7. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it simmers. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted and smooth
  8. Pour the chocolate ganache over the pudding layer and spread evenly
  9. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving

Ensure the cake is completely cool before adding pudding.
