Ingredients
12–15 pieces Lasagna Noodles
4 cups Cooked Chicken, shredded or diced
½ cup Unsalted Butter
4–6 cloves Garlic, minced
½ cup All-Purpose Flour
4 cups Heavy Cream
2 cups Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
4 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
1 cup Ricotta Cheese, optional
1 teaspoon Salt, or to taste
½ teaspoon Black Pepper, or to taste
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg, ground, optional
2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped, optional
Instructions
- Prepare the noodles: If using traditional lasagna noodles, cook them according to package directions until al dente
- Make the Alfredo sauce: Melt butter in a large saucepan, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, add Parmesan, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until smooth
- Prepare the chicken: Shred or dice your cooked chicke
- Assemble the lasagna: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce in a 9×13 inch baking dish, layer noodles, chicken, Alfredo sauce, and mozzarella in layers until complete
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake until bubbly and golden, about 15-20 minutes
- Rest and serve: Let it sit for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serve with parsley if desired
Notes
You can add vegetables like sautéed spinach or mushrooms between the layers for added nutrition.
