Ingredients
16 ounces Frozen Sweet Cor
4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
3–4 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2–4 tablespoons Milk or Cream
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Place a large skillet over medium heat and allow it to warm
- Add the butter to the pan and let it melt completely
- Pour the frozen corn directly into the melted butter and stir to coat
- Cook the corn for 5-7 minutes until it's heated through and tender-crisp
- Push the corn to one side of the pan and add the minced garlic to the cleared space. Sauté for 30-60 seconds until fragrant
- Stir the garlic into the corn, add the salt and pepper, and mix well
- Pour in the milk or cream and stir to create a creamy base
- Reduce the heat to low, sprinkle the shredded cheese over the corn, and stir until the cheese completely melts
- Remove from heat and garnish with parsley, then serve hot
Notes
Fresh corn can be used instead of frozen, cooking slightly longer.
For a creamier texture, use heavy cream instead of milk.
