4 lbs Sweet Potatoes
1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
1 cup Light Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamo
1/2 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 cup Water
Instructions
- Prepare the Sweet Potatoes: Peel and cut into 1-inch thick rounds or chunks. Place in a large baking dish
- Make the Glaze: Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan, stir in brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, salt, and water. Bring to a simmer and remove from heat
- Combine and Bake: Pour the glaze over sweet potatoes, toss gently to coat, cover with foil, and bake at 375°F for 45 minutes
- Uncover and Caramelize: Remove foil, stir sweet potatoes, continue baking for another 25-35 minutes until fork-tender and glaze thickens
- Serve: Let rest before serving

For a deeper flavor, consider using dark brown sugar or adding a dash of molasses.
