Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pa
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside
  3. In another large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined
  6. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Mix in ½ cup of the cake batter into the cream cheese
  7. Fold in the diced strawberries into the remaining cake batter
  8. Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spoon in the cream cheese mixture over the batter and swirl gently with a knife. Pour the remaining cake batter over the cream cheese mixture
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clea
  10. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely
